COA Scholarship
The COA scholarship is given to a son or daughter whose parent/guardian is a member in good standing of the Crossroads Officials Association. The applicant should display character that exemplifies integrity, discipline, honesty, cooperation, determination, devotion, responsibility, understanding, and enthusiasm. This application may be completed by the student before notification of acceptance to a post-secondary educational or vocational program.

Qualifications

Applicant must be a senior in high school who ranks in the upper 25% of his/her class or a college undergraduate who has a B (3.0) average or higher.

Applicant must be making definite plans to further his/her education in a chosen field.

Applicant must meet necessary entrance requirements in the institution of choice.

Applicant can be awarded this scholarship only once.

The parent/guardian of the applicant must have been a member in good standing of the COA for two (2) consecutive years prior to the application date. (Under an extenuating circumstance the committee may waive this requirement.)

Three (3) completed reference forms are required. One (1) from a teacher; one (1) from a coach or activity sponsor; and one (1) from another adult (other than parents or relatives) who knows you well. References can complete the reference form below.

The scholarship check will be sent directly to the educational institution on your application.
It is imperative that your application be completed with no omissions of any part of the application requirements. If more space is needed for information on any items requested, you may attach additional pages. Please number the additional pages appropriately.
Notifications of the decisions of the committee will be made via phone or email in mid-April.
